    Correction to my response should be Ceraseal
    Cerapol and Ceraclen are mild abrasives used for cleaning the ceramic hotplates before applying the Ceraseal polish

    I suggest White Spirit, available at any paint store.
    It is inflammable like most paint solvents so be careful when you heat it up to dissolve the candle wax.
