I used a Logitech K400 on ours when we first got it. Worked quite well, but found that the "smart" TV was not as smart as they are advertised to be.
I bought an ex lease pc to use as a HTPC and now...
This is the only site causing problems.
Managed to get what I wanted by logging into work through RDP and downloading the manual.
Weird why I can't do it directly from home?
That's it, but still timing out.
I will try at work tomorrow.
I am trying to download the manual and latest drivers etc for a new ASUS UX330UA laptop running W10 Pro, but can't connect to the Global download site.
Have tried with Edge and IE11 on the laptop....
I have V4.40.
Have never had IrfanView delete files, or cause any other issues on an update.
Are the pics yours, or did they come with the download?
Have you tried creating another "Family" folder and moving the entries to it?
We have never had any of the MS etc spam calls.
Possibly because we have had an unlisted phone number for over 30 years?
What happens with these real time automatic backups if the source computer gets screwed, eg virus, cryptolocked, or just corrupted in some way?
Will the backup also suffer the same failure?
I also have W10 on a 120GB SSD and still got 53GB free.
MS Office, iTunes installed, but no games or movies.
Wouldn't drop Spark just because you are having a "temporary" problem with the idiots in their billing department. They will sort it out.
Thanks, I will have a look at it.
wainuitech, what firewall would you recommend for a family pc running W10 Home that is used by people of varying computer knowledge?
The issue that I and many others have with MR is when will they acknowledge that they have an issue and do something about it?
Surely they can't keep their head in the sand for ever. Sooner or later...
This is interesting.
Just done a few more tests and slowest speed to Telstra Sydney was 105.21, but fastest to MR or Spark was 104.94.
Rather late, so everyone must have gone to bed.
These are at 11.07pm
Telstra Sydney 105.29/21.10
MR server 104.66/21.48
MR was 51.21/21.56 at 8pm tonight.
Below is last reply I got from MR,
"The senior engineer has advised there is no lingering issue with handover and our network team believe in the upgrades they have done.
At this point, we are...
Thanks for replies guys.
Q1 - Ian is on Spark, so he is more likely to have problems with his equipment?
Q2 - We are with MR on 100/20 plan, so pretty sure what answer would be. TrueNet graph...
Would be interested in comments on the following:
1 - Getting consistent slow UFB speeds at any time of the day or night could indicate a fault with the user's equipment, rather than the...
Missed it. Looks like I will have to stay with the free version.
John H. SPEED is the reason to go to a SSD. They are FAST to load, FAST to retrieve data, in fact just much FASTER than a HDD.
You will really notice the difference converting from HDD to SSD.
I use pdfcreator.
Just tried the NOD32 online scanner.
It found 14 "Potentially Unwanted Applications".
13 were Panda Antivirus(Toolbar.Visicom and Netfilter).
1 was the latest Ccleaner setup file in my...
Hi Arnie, I have Panda free running on three computers. Seems to work well, but did have a problem with an update a few weeks ago. Panda sorted it out after a couple of days.
Also have Malwarebytes,...
