What with all the polls and these sorts of questions, seems we have some very inquisitive people on these forums

Or any of the other Data miners.

Ash,

This place is Crawling with bots at the moment they out number online members by at least 5 to 1. bad timing if your are simply curious.

The sooner that that bots are removed as in the old forum the better although they can be used if one puts their mind to it.l

SCAMME.TELESCAM.MICROSCAM.TELECON.MICRO$OFT.OSAMAD BIN LADEN.BOMB.

That lot should bring them running. google for this thread in 40 minuites, see what comes up.

I'm a Police Inspector assigned to the Wanganui church arson case but after years of investigation we are no nearer an arrest. The arsonist always leaves a cryptic message, "Down with M/S"' but we have no idea what this means.

My Friend Helped the Anglican Church with this case, but as most of the time it was Roman Catholic Churches being burnt, he didn't really do much :o

I don't need to work full time as my wise investments in Telecom, Microsoft and Intel have provided a good income.

I work part time as a freelance investigator for organisations such as the BSA and RIAA. Thanks to this forum that has also been very profitable, as many posters will soon find out.

No, we don't need him(her). The forum has been quite amiable since, and long may it be so. Get the message Elim - no need for any personal comments here.

Google ads pay not-a-lot.

Around 4-5 cents per click when I had them (which was not for long after discovering that).

They [u]cost[/i] around 20 cents per click, so obviously Google makes a fair bit and you don't....

For example, 1,000 unique visitors per day, with a click-thru rate of 5% (unrealisitcly good) and 4c per click (average) would earn you $60 per month.

10,000 per day and you're talking!

you do realise it's against Google's TOS to give statistics about ads revenue?

How is saying that a bannable offense? Unbelievable. Where's that 'bring back ***' guy when ya need him? It's my own fault really, I must have misread the thread title of What is your job / Where?.

Ironically the advice of the 24hr ban is sent via private message, which can't be retrieved when banned - chicken and egg syndrome really.

Cool.. a quick way to get a better google listing for MSC

I'm a sound engineer who founded a Christchurch based organisation now known as the Millerton Sound Company, which is also now a partnership. That's www.millerton.co.nz

We at www.millerton.co.nz set Concert PAs and light shows up. I personally specialise in live sound engineering and my partner specialising in lighting. We do gigs ranging from birthday celebrations, Punkfest.orcon.net.nz/ Harvest partys, Metal gigs or whatever anyone wants, even small raves. We work in the Canterbury and West Coast areas. Live performance is definitely what squeals our wheels.

So Thankyou Google, just incase you missed, i'm....

Chris from the Millerton Sound Company

Granted google has
"Results 1 - 10 of about 5,920 for Millerton Sound Company. (0.24 seconds)"
but only the first 4 relate to my outfit!

A search for "Christchurch PA hire" results
" about 18,400 for Christchurch PA hire. (0.22 seconds)" and sadly, we aren't there in the first forty. I didn't bother looking further.
