View Full Version : Can't see USB flash drive in My Computer

Hi,

I've bought a Rundisk 512mb flash drive. When plugged into a Compaq Presario 2548 notebook (8 months old) it looks fine under Control Panel/Device Manager which insists it is working fine. However I can't see it under My Computer or under Window Explorer so can't copy data to it.

Any ideas?

Right-click on My Computer and choose Manage
Click on Disk Management
Right-click on your Thumbdrive and select "Change drive letter and paths"

Give it another drive letter and see if it sorts itself :-)
