hmmm cool. If you click the underlined number next to the city it tells you who voted where. But then again all you need to do is put your location in your profile...

Hamilton must be exciting. So much things to do. In fact, so much that you'd rather sit and make 134 threads here than do something else. :illogical

Unfortunately I was not part of the gliding community Tony. I did all my wanderings in that area on Shanks pony with a pack on my back. It's still a great place though from whichever angle you view it.

I quite enjoyed my gliding times too, either end of the string, but best off it.

Hi, Pleased to see in results that more forum users come from outside of Auckland, about time the great whenn on the backside of NZ is shown in its rightful place.

Hooray - another enthusiast. I was a flying instructor at Wellington GC for quite a few years but never a tow pilot. Happy days to look back on. Now reading in Gliding Kiwi it is all super fibreglass and a panel full of instruments...
Ah - the good old days.
Cheers tony

Yep - OtEmatata is very near Omarama and The Haka. Place is starting to fill up with holiday makers. There's snow on the hills around town today and at present it's a comfortable 10C.

I didn't want to be classified as from Wellington and Other NZ could be anywhere and would take away my identity.

I'm in with my computer too and noticed I am lumped in with the Wanganui people, ( Well at least one of them!!!)

Maybe the outskirts of Wanganui have extended like Jafaland to include where I am.

It's a race to see whether or not I will end up as an Aucklander or a Wanganuian.

Personally I'm betting on Wanganui. JAFA's never admit that there is anything south of the Bombay Hills. :@@:
