This is Trojan Remover's site

http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/index.html

Just in case, you've used this. Follow the following, to see if Trojan
Remover picks up whatever, if it's active/running.

I would say this would also apply to autoprotect (disable it), if u use
NAV 2003/2004/2005. If it's running in the background. Before u scan
with Trojan Remover.

There are no limitations in the unregistered version, it is a fully working version that is simply set to expire after the evaluation period is completed.

For Trojan Remover to detect malware during a "normal" scan, the malware must be actively loading when the PC boots up - i.e. there must be a startup reference to it somewhere. Also, it is important to temporarily disable any antivirus program that may also be detecting the malware, otherwise it prevents Trojan Remover from accessing the file to scan it.

If the malware is not actively loading, but has been detected by another antivirus program, it can be detected/disabled/removed by (again, with the antivirus program disabled) right-clicking on the file concerned and selecting "Scan with Trojan Remover". The only exception to this is if the malware file is only being detected in a System Restore directory, where special circumstances apply.
