when a cd dont work, or cannot be burnt to or ya sorta killed it what does one do with them????

had a blonde thought here, decorate them and put them on your xmas tree.....
i know its been said before.

or take them to your local kindy or childcare centre and they make mobiles and such out of them.

can be real pretty, or decorate them with your kidlets....

Metla still got some coasters left???

Hehe.... some of the dyes have cyanide in them.

Best use:

Turn off the lights in the kitchen, pop a CD-R in the microwave, 3 seconds on high and you get a little blue flash of light in the microwave.

Doesn't harm the microwave - fun fun!

I thought you'd like that, it can be anything that spins your wheels ;)

Just be aware that if you're playing frisbee with them they tend to shatter and have nasty sharp edges :(

It's already been done :p

The rumor is that stringing them up amongst your fruit trees or grape vines scares the birds away :)

This will probably go the way of the 1/2 filled soft drink bottle on the lawn trick though .

I glued a whole heap of them to a door a couple of years ago. They look great even now.

There´s a small piece of wall i plan to paint black and glue some more over that.

BTW, some of them totally go off under blacklight .... Nice!

Raikyn:

But surely that bottle on the lawn was for the dog unmentionables?

(And just another urban myth which has hopefully died the death - but sounded good when first heard)

This works really well. I hung some in the fruit trees and the birds would not go near them.
