Its reported (in every newspaper and on radio, TV and the web as well) that it will use the infected computers to launch a Denial Of Service attack against the Microsoft Windows Update site. It will do this by making large numbers of requests for connection which will cripple the site, apparently.

I assume this is what you are asking, your question is very cryptic.

What might happen is the computers that are still "possesed" on that day will launch an (DoS) attack against the windows update server (server's) to stop people from updating there computer ( but as we know That was not a good idea ;) by now most people have patched this problem or have disabled it from getting out )

A touch of clairvoyance wouldn't go amiss.

Wot do the creators of the worm aim to achieve by crippling the Windows Update site? They wont really get anythign out of it, will they?

if MS was thinking good they would change the DNS of windowsupdate.com to 127.0.0.1 and the Dos packets wont ever hit the internet :-)

the MS DNS servers will still take a big hit but it will stop a lot of the problem for them (and us)
