After uninstalling some surplus programs off my hard drive using the windows un-install wizzard from start-control pannel,add-remove programs, all the list of installed programs has gone???.The list box is empty!
Is there anny way i can restore the list of programs I have installed??.
I am running win98, and First-aid and Norton's Win-Dr did not pick up this problem.I am no longer using First-aid only Nortons Utilities.
System is 166- 16M Ram 1.2G Hard drive.
Any help would be apreciated.

try downloading ccleaner from here (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/)and see if that picks up your programs on its list. let me know how it turns out.

Look at the number of views for this thread >2700, there must have been heaps of people with the same problem over the years, pity the thread of one question and no answers, until today, was no help to them.

Well, Microsoft stopped supporting the Windows 98 system about 3 or 4 years ago didn't they?
