View Full Version : Requesters

HI
This is not a help - just tell me if it can be done - and how...
The requester in Windows Explorer - the one that tells you that the file may be unusable if it is re-named...
I re-name pic's.jpg to whatever and the requester is anoying me - (I have a 17' monitor and the mouse cursor has to move from where I re-name the file - over to the requester - just to tell it that it's ok to change the name).
I do a lot of work for Video Productions
in which I have to re-name a lot of files...
Also, is there a shareware program that will put all requesters (such as this one) under the mouse cursor - then at least I won't have so far to travel...

While we are on the 'Requester' subject
- is there another program (or hack) to put a 'no to all' button on the requester (I also Move a lot of files from one directory to another) ...
The requester is:
Do you wan't to move this file...
The buttons are:
Yes - Yes to all - No - Cancel.
I would like a - No to all - button.
This would allow all files that are not in the destination folder to move across
and if there was a pending double-up then the files that would be doubling up won't be transfered across.
This way I could leave the machine 'unattended' and do something else...
As it is I have to sit with finger on mouse waiting for a double-up... (Bah)

Thanx
