Can any one help me to get DCC working in Win 95. I have been through the trouble shooter and everything appears to match on both computers (both 200 mmx - one is a Laptop). I am using a parallel data transfer cable(all pins connected straight through)on the printer port - LPT 1. I recieve error messages on both computers to the effect that they cannot connect! Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Does your machines have Ethernet port? The shape of it is like modem port but it is much more wider. If both of your machine have one, you can create something call crossover connection where you link up both machines by connecting it with a crossover ethernet cable. Good luck on ya.

As James said Ethernet would be a better option if you have the necessary.

Your parallel cable needs to be a crossover not a straight through.

Carefully check off each item here:http://www.lpt.com/Support/DCC-SetUp/dcc-setup.htm especially the network components including NetBEUI that need to be installed for DCC to work. Hope this helps. Worked for me. :)
