OK - now for an easy question (I hope)
I want to be able to print my directory listings...
I'm sure I have done this before - but for some reason it now eludes me.
( I know it's a sign of old age ) :)
Anyhow if anyone can help - thanx

I assume you want to print your directory listings? if so...

Go to Start>Run.

Type CMD and press Enter.

Type CD followed by the directory you want to print - spaces are allowed. (eg CD C:\SampleFolder\Sub Folder) and press Enter. Type the root drive letter if it's not on C:.

Type tree > dirlist.rtf (or a filename of your choice - make sure it ends in .RTF though) and press Enter.

Browse to the location that you typed above (C:\SampleFolder\Sub Folder) and open the RTF file in Word, choosing MS-DOS excnoding.

there you have it! A directory listing.
