The spokesman said there were no indications any drips had made it through to the Cabinet room.

There's a Tui billboard if ever I saw one! :D

Wonder if they will expect the City Council to pay 25%?

They should have bulldozed it, rather than refurbishing it for 55million, and it has been voted one of the worlds top 10 ugliest buildings

I look out the window at it every day.

Should flatten the ugly heap of *** building and shift the capital to Auckland preferably Otara.
That way 12v will not have to look out at it every day.

Neither since the Beehive isn't a home and leaks don't hit they just happen and never from the point where they show up

Not ugly in my eyes, but highly impractical I believe.

There are some people about ready to throw their stuff, and what more appropriate target?

I think it was designed to leak.

From an architects point of view it is a fugly brute of a building. They had planned to turn it into an artifical reef in the harbour, which would have been a good use for it.

I assume an architect designed it,and found it beautiful.
